Specialty Finishes

In addition to manufacturing a high quality metal package and printing with high-definition graphics, we can top it all off with a varnish that enhances the beauty of the design.  The varnishes not only protect the inks and coatings but can add a unique dimension.  The effects can differ if the bright tin shows through the inks to render a reflective or metallic look.

Our standard gloss varnish protects with beautiful shine but intensifies colors and reflectivity.  When our standard gloss is printed over a matte varnish the effects can be quite elegant.  Textured or “stipple varnish” gives a  pebble effect and minimizes the appearance of fingerprints.   Crystaline varnish delivers a glitter appearance and can enhance an antique or retro look.  It requires a double-bake to achieve the desired result.
