In 1991, in accordance with our goal to achieve the highest quality flat sheet, metal lithography, we took the step of becoming our own printer. We quickly became an award-winning global leader. Our investments in the latest technology assure maximum visual quality and shelf appeal for our products. Customers’ projects are within our control from design to delivery.
All of our decorative tins, metal signs and other products begin with a flat sheet of steel that is printed in “high definition”, up to 250 line screen detail.
Our metal decorating facility, constructed to exceed EPA requirements, has a “building within a building” in our Belcamp, MD operation. It houses our Metal Star 2 six color printing line, the only one of its kind in the United States. This press enables us to print more efficiently and with near-photographic quality.
Specifically developed metal decorating technology combined with experienced and highly trained pressmen assure a uniquely high level of consistently repeatable print quality.

This represents the second METALSTAR 2 following the first installation of a 6-Colour METALSTAR 2 in 2004. This printing line is extended in a second step with a Sprint Revolver Coater Type 490, hence allowing to execute a 6-colour print plus applying the over-varnish in one pass.
